CTGBC Green Building Awards

We invite you to celebrate with us on the evening of Oct. 3rd in New Haven, in the Springside Community Room, at Common Ground High School, Urban Farm, and Educational Center. Recognized for its leadership, Common Ground High School is one of the first environmentally themed charter high schools and the farm is Connecticut’s longest-running community farm. Additionally, the Urban and Educational Center is a LEED Gold certified building and previous CTGBC Green Building Award of Honor winner.
Keynote Speaker: John Mandyck, CEO of Urban Green
As a special highlight this year, we are very pleased to announce that John Mandyck, the CEO of Urban Green Council in NYC, will be our featured keynote speaker. As NYC is the largest city in the world to declare a climate emergency, John is at the forefront of the efforts to transform buildings for a sustainable future. His keynote, entitled ‘Building Forward’, will be on Building Emissions laws in the recently passed NYC Climate Mobilization Act. His presentation is not to be missed.
