René is a senior architect at Centerbrook Architects in Essex where he mostly works on institutional buildings. One of his projects at Bowdoin College received a CTGBC and a national PHIUS award. This work inspired him to get certified and promote passive building himself. Within our office I am part of our sustainability team and lead an effort to improve envelope insulation design. I am also an adjunct Professor at Connecticut College where I teach a sustainable architecture workshop. On a personal note, my family is getting solar panels installed on our home this summer!
